Before requesting membership to this group it is recommended that you READ, at the very least, the next three paragraphs, failure to do so will result in your application for membership being declined!

Your Flickr account allows you to create "Sets", a set is folder where you can group images together in one place. If you have a free Flickr account you are only allowed to create three sets. We suggest you use one of these sets to separate your more serious work from your day to day uploads.

Title your set DAPA GROUP and place in it twenty, or more, images that best illustrate your passion for photography.

Please remember, Dapa Group is a photography group for the more experienced amateur. Holiday Snaps, Pet Pictures and Family Photo's we don't wish to see, which is why we ask you to separate your work and prepare a set for appraisal.

Simply requesting to join this group doesn’t automatically mean your application will be granted! Certainly, without a DAPA GROUP set showing on your account your request for membership will automatically be declined.

Creating a set and loading it with a select few images, takes less than five minutes. In return we promise to give your selection our fullest attention and to notify you of our decision as soon as possible. 

As a member of Dapa Group on Flickr™ you are permitted to upload 3 images to the group pool each week. Images will be held in a "Pending Area" until authorised for realise by the groups administrator.

Only six new images will be released into the pool each day, allowing the author fair exposure of their work. Members are expected to post work that will inspire and motivate others.

Members are further encouraged to assist in the groups Merit Award scheme, details of which, can be found elsewhere on this web site.

 

Officers and Committee reserve the right to change or modify the rules governing membership to Dapa Group at their discretion and without notice. How often our rules change depends on you and your conduct within the group.
