The Dapa Group “Picture of the Year” photo competition starts in the first week in January and ends in the last week of December. This year, 2008, will be our 4^th annual end of year photo contest, with admissions rising to over 200 images. The task of judging this competition has yet to be decided. Nevertheless, whoever is chosen to fulfil the roll will have a difficult job of choosing the winner.

The images that make up this competition are decided on by the votes counted in the Perfect Images UK Photo Challenge. The top three scoring images, as voted for by our group members each week form the foundations of this competition. In addition to this, the author of our specially selected “Picture of the Week”, will be asked to attach their work too, rendering further support and another 52 top class images to the challenge.

Week by week, month by month this competition grows into a spectacular display of images, by some of the finest photographers on Flickr. If you haven't yet seen this gallery we urge you to now!
